Judging, Prizes & Notification

Entries will be judged on originality, creative expression, and storytelling. The Vital Health Publishing Judges Panel will judge all submissions from the two categories (8 to 11 years old and 12 to 15 years old). Judges will use the following criteria: creativity, originality, story structure, relevance and quality. All decisions of the judges are final and not subject to appeal or review. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. Winners will be notified in December 2022. Each winner’s story will be posted on the Vital Health Publishing website. There are six prizes: one first-place prize of $200 for each category, one-second place prize of $100 per category, and one third-place prize of $50 per category. Prize recipients must allow a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks from notification to delivery. Prizes are non-transferable.
